What the perforations are used for
Perforated gypsum boards are used in acoustic absorption solutions. Cleaneo ranges include different patterns and formats for ceilings and linings. They are considered as part of room acoustic treatment, rather than as a universal way to prevent sound arriving from another space. The product and system composition should be selected for the intended objective and the room's conditions.
Room use guides the design
A meeting room, classroom, dining area or customer-facing space can present different needs. Explain which activities take place, how many people use the room and which surfaces predominate. Its size and shape help establish whether an acoustic study is needed to define the intervention and its distribution. A visual preference alone does not establish the acoustic scope.
The pattern belongs in the project
Perforations can be arranged in different ways and need a layout coordinated with lights, grilles and edges. Prepare a ceiling sketch before requesting a particular appearance. We also need to know where maintenance access will be required, so its position can be resolved alongside the visual composition and services. This allows the proposed finish to be discussed as a coherent whole.
A compatible composition and finish
The perforated board, space behind it and system components are checked against the manufacturer's documentation. Joint treatment is product-specific; not every range is installed in the same way. Painting and later interventions must follow the relevant instructions so that perforations and the specified absorbent construction are preserved. The finish scope should make responsibilities and any necessary coordination clear.
What to provide for your room
Send photographs from several positions, approximate measurements and a description of the activity. Mark ceiling equipment and its access needs. We will assess the lining's feasibility and identify missing information, including specialist input where appropriate. The proposal should coordinate appearance, acoustic composition and maintenance, rather than offering one universal absorption figure. It should also describe the intended finish and the interfaces with other work.
- Room activity, geometry and existing surfaces.
- Lighting, ventilation and required access panels.
- Preferred pattern and finishing scope.
